We will aim to match mentees as quickly as possible, however, this depends on number of available mentors on the system.
Tarmac Mentoring Programme
The purpose is to develop the potential of the mentee and the skillset of the mentor. It’s particularly useful to have a mentor if you’re considering your next career step, want to boost your network, if you’re facing change in your role/department, if you’re new in a role, or if you’re simply looking to broaden your skills and expertise.
A mentoring relationship involves meeting regularly with someone at Tarmac – either face-to-face or virtually – to explore your mentoring goals, and potentially having meetings and/or site visits (it’s up to you as a pair to decide how to spend your time).
NEW technology to support the programme
We have partnered with Qooper to provide a fantastic platform to support your mentoring relationship. The platform supports the following:
- Setting up your profile and requirements from a mentoring relationship
- Algorithm matching based on what you require – connecting you with a mentor or mentee
- Learning resources
- Managing your relationship – messaging/tracking sessions
- Setting goals
- Providing feedback
- Mentee and Mentor network

Success stories
"This experience has been of huge value and it was very useful to be able to have some relaxed discussions followed by the right level of challenge at each of our meetings. Our conversations have been thought provoking and I have taken away some positive lessons that I now use daily."
- Melanie Buswell, Strategic Account Manager - Materials
