• The programme focuses on managing self, managing people and building high-performing teams. It is suitable for Team Leaders and people managers at bands 2 and 3.
• Nominees must have at least one direct report. 
• Nominees who are in scope for CRH FLP cannot be enrolled onto this programme. Click HERE to find out more about CRH FLP. You can ask your HR or Training Manager to find out whether you are in scope for CRH FLP or not.

1. Identify a development need via PDP and 1-2-1 conversations with your Line Manager.
2. Your Line Manager will then discuss your nomination with the relevant HR Manager.
3. Your HR Manager will review the request and submit your nomination to the L&D Team.
4.  L&D will review the nominations and determine suitability.
5. L&D will invite suitable delegates (both learners and Line Managers) to information sessions run by L&D and the training provider.
6. Delegates will review additional information about the programme (timeline, delivery, commitment etc) and make a final decision.
7. Delegates sign and complete the Tarmac Learning Agreement.

HR Ops and L&D will take into consideration a number of factors, for example, PDP, performance rating, experience, prior learning, other commitments and allocated spaces per BU.

• No. It is crucial that individuals are only enrolled onto one programme at a time, because it would be extremely challenging to do this programme along side another programme.
• If an individual is enrolled onto an apprenticeship programme, a graduate programme, EDP or any other formal development programme, they must finish before they can start the Tarmac Front-line Management Programme.
